All families are unique and respected regardless of background. Families are welcomed through open communication and are offered opportunities for involvement at whatever level they choose. We aim to uphold confidentiality and the privacy of all families.
Our aim is to provide a program that challenges, stimulates and interests children at their own level of involvement. This is done through regular observations and evaluations that allow the team to focus on appropriate educational experiences for all children.
All educators co-exist in an environment that encourages their personal and professional development. Our team respects individual levels of knowledge and experience as well as encouraging active participation in open communication. Reflective practices are encouraged and used by all.
We aim to provide an environment that reflects the home and is safe and stimulating for children whilst being conducive to learning, encouraging exploration and experimentation. The centre encourages the use of ecologically sustainable practices such as recycling, composting and gardening, and discourages the unnecessary waste of resources. We maintain a high level of hygiene to ensure a healthy learning environment for all children.
To involve children in learning experiences that reflects the cultural diversity of the community. We aim to use community resources to aid the centre in reflecting community needs and values.
